- I've been painting since the ripe age of 4. While most kids that age were running around with crayons, my aunt equipped me with a paintbrush and paint. I'm a Cuban American raised in Miami, Florida. Inspired by the bold colors and sounds of my environment, I love to paint. I'm now living in NYC with my wonderful husband.

So this is how all the cool bloggers come up with photos of themselves that don't look like they are holding a camera at arms length pointed at their face...last pic is priceless, by the way. Merry Christmas!
